For a leading US based global bank, Accelium staff designed and developed Business Rules based application used by the customers of the bank. The engagement included designing and development of a single view of a customer (SVOC) holding a portfolio of services with the bank, thereby allowing the bank's staff to react to client needs appropriately.
Accelium team was responsible for setting up the environment for Struts Framework for developing Java based MVC architecture. We further developed complex web based screens in JSP with embedded Struts based tags/classes.
Our staff did extensive programming using classes of Java 1.3 API, Collections, Threads and Servlets, incorporated various Design/Architectural Patterns of Façade, MVC and Adapter etc, developed layers and dynamic tables using DOM API in JavaScript for IE and Netscape browsers.
Key Achievement: As a result of this application the bank is able to potentially cross & up-sell services to customers based on their "holdings" with the bank.
For a leading US based global bank, Accelium staff helped design the Wealth Management Platform for Financial Advisors to handle Estate and Insurance planning for clients. In addition client financial advisors can generate a new series of analyses and reports that they can distribute and share with their customers along with Retirement and Education Planning capability.
Accelium team was responsible for Understanding detailed Business Requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, Interacting with the stakeholders , Designers and Developers, Project Managers and SMEs to create Process Maps and establish Business Rules for the new system. Conduct work-flow presentations; proto-type walkthroughs; issues logging and reporting; and run-book lists and provide reports to the higher management.
Key Achievement: As a result of this initiative the client was able to expand its business by Billions of dollars in revenue. This initiative also enabled simplification of technology stack by helping to de-commission the older platforms.
For a leading US based global bank, Accelium staff helped in project management and design of a platform for doing business with clients easier, simpler and more efficient by consolidation data sources from various sources into one view. It allows the Financial Advisors (FAs) to have clear picture the client relationship by displaying all activities, key financial statistics, goals and goals-funding status, risk metrics, opportunities, interactions and profile indicators.

For a large US based global insurance company, Accelium developed, executed and maintained automated scripts in WinRunner for financial modules (iExpense, AP, GL, FA) in Oracle Applications 11i. The project included both manual and automated testing of existing modules with a goal of automating repeatable processes.

For a US based global Global Retailer and Wholesaler, Accelium designed and developed reusable components namely: Authentication Component, Authorization Component and registration Component.
These components were used by the client to develop B2B applications which thereby reducing manual operations around managing business partners and vendors. The whole application was developed using Microsoft .Net components.

For a US based based global Petroleum Giant, Accelium developed a business solution handling Sales, Inventory, Support and Billing functionality.
The application implemented various business related transactions through third party applications and J2EE platform. Using tools such as Documentum and PVCS we did technical specifications and version control respectively.
The engagement included application enhancements and bug fixes to stabilize and scale the application for over 500 concurrent global users.
Key Achievement: The stability of this application resulted in savings of 1 million dollars for the client in first 90 days.

- Re-engineer customized SQRs, NVision, Crystal Reports, Peoplecode, Application Engine programs to include latest functionality offered in new version.
- Write customized reports & reengineer previously written reports to add more functionality, make it work better or just perform faster.
- Integrate Highjump software and demand planning system with Peoplesoft system.

For a large US based global insurance company, Accelium provided Program and Project Management for a key data conversion and integration project replaces a legacy AS400 system, that supported all US locations, with a suite of Oracle application systems providing a modern and efficient Billing and Fiduciary platform. Additionally, The conversion project required new integrations with the Data Warehouse and over over 25 operational supporting applications.
